Scholarships for Kids is dedicated to fighting poverty within the world's poorest nations through educational scholarships.
Every child, no matter where they are born, should be afforded the opportunities an education can offer. Because poverty is cyclical, it is all too often the case that those born into poor families are destined to be poor themselves. The costs of a good education, although seemingly small to us, are beyond their reach. Scholarships for Kids looks to bridge this financial gap through offering assistance to bright and dedicated children who have found themselves in the direst financial need. An education helps to level the playing field, as the best jobs, prospects and futures in a developing nation will go to those with the best education.
Our hope is that with every child we help travels the potential of a brighter future - one that, like the ripples on a pond, spreads out and inspires others. Our modern world shows time and time again that, in a global community, we can so often feel the plight of people living thousands of kilometres away.
