Scholarships for Kids is a registered UK charity. We are committed to helping children in some of the world's poorest areas afford the education they deserve, through scholarships and donations that pay for their schooling, books, stationery and uniforms.

Literacy and poverty statistics tend to go hand in hand. The poorer the population of a country, the less likely they are to be able to afford a decent education and therefore the more difficult it will be for them to break free from the cycle of poverty. Many African nations are at the bottom of the literacy league tables, but with over 45 per cent of its population living in poverty Kenya was an obvious choice when we were looking for a country to launch our scholarship scheme.

Children

It costs as little as £75 a year for a child to attend primary school in Kenya; small change to many of us, but totally beyond the means of countless parents and orphans in one of the world's poorest nations.

Right now we can only help those in most need, so we are very selective about the children we support and the schools we allow into our scheme.

To give the gift of a brighter future, donate now to Scholarships for Kids and make a real difference to a young life.
