Exam performance analysis of independent schools and state schools
This chart shows exam results of SFK Independent schools and State schools from a similar area in and around Nairobi. It is interesting to note that Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination results achieved by the Independent schools are on average 25% higher than those within the State schools studying the same curriculum.
The children within the State sector come from a diverse economic background, whereas the Independent schools supported by SFK are specifically targeted at children from the poverty stricken shanty towns.
