New Trustee Appointed
Professor James Tooley, Professor of Political Studies in Education at Newscastle University is Head of the Education Section and Associate Director of the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences.
He is also Director of the E. G. West Centre. The Centre and Professor Tooley has made available to SFK its research to develop knowledge and understanding of the role of private education in developing countries. James Tooley has been a professor for many years at leading universities in England, Canada and South Africa. He is also an award-winning scholar who has featured in PBS and BBC documentaries and has been covered in Newsweek, the Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times.
