If you are trying to think of ways in which you could help us to support the education of children throughout the poorest provinces in Kenya, you could contribute to a child's scholarship, donate to our charity or help us to promote Scholarships for Kids far and wide by becoming an ambassador for SFK.
Tell them about us
Your support could be as simple as mentioning us to your neighbour, telling your friends, your colleagues or those in your club, society or group. Your word of mouth is worth a hundred adverts, a thousand leaflets and a priceless amount of thanks from us, because we need your help to let others know of our fight against poverty through supporting educational scholarships for kids in most need.
Fundraising events
So little is needed to make an enormous impact on a child's future.
- Just £75 will pay for a whole year of one child's primary-school education in Kenya
- Just £165 will pay for an entire school year for one secondary-school child
But even this is too much for some to afford. Each year, thousands of children become statistics in the battle against poverty, as they are destined to repeat its cycle when their families can no longer afford to keep them in school. Every year, bright, determined and dedicated children are orphaned and their financial lifeline severed, leaving them little hope for a good education.
Because so little money is needed to help each one of these children, even the smallest amount of fundraising activity can yield the rewards needed to support their schooling. The bigger the event, the more children we can help, and the more futures we can save.
